Vinyasa Flow · Aerial Yoga · Cascais
For the season you're in
Maybe nothing happened. Your body has simply spent a year in moving mode — suitcases, flat-pack furniture, a laptop on the kitchen table.
Your neck doesn't turn, you go to bed late, and mornings are heavy anyway. And somewhere in all of it, the sense that this body is yours went missing.
There is nothing to prove here and no one to keep up with. You start moving and breathing; the rest follows.
Who teaches
I teach vinyasa flow and aerial yoga in Cascais. Vinyasa is movement that follows the breath rather than the other way round: the class gathers into one flow, and there is simply no time left to think about what hurts.
Aerial is the same practice, in a hammock. The spine lengthens with no load on it, and the inversions you have avoided on the mat for years work on the first try.
I teach in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Fourteen people at most — I see everyone and get to each of them.
This week
Booking required. A class runs from three people — if the group doesn't fill, I message you the evening before.
Three ways in
In a hammock · 60 minutes
The spine lengthens on its own, with no effort.
The hammock carries your weight, so the back opens where the mat only compresses it. Come with a friend the first time — less frightening and far funnier.
In the open air · 60 minutes
The week ends with water, not with a screen.
A mat on the sand, the sound of waves instead of music, coffee afterwards. The easiest way in if walking into a studio still feels like a lot.
One hour, one to one
Your pace, your place, your body.
At home, on the shore, or at a location we agree on. Work through transitions and breath, build a first flow from zero, or prepare your body for the hammock.
Aerial yoga
From the outside aerial looks alarming — as if you hang upside down from minute one. From the inside it starts with you simply sitting down in the hammock.
First you just sit
The hammock carries all of your weight. For the first few minutes your feet never leave the floor — the body learns that it is being held.
Then you lengthen
One leg in the loop, and the back opens on its own, with no effort. This is where a week hunched over a laptop comes out of your neck.
And only at the end, upside down
Once the body has understood that it is held. The inversion works on the first try — for almost everyone.

If you are in Cascais or Lisbon — I really recommend her. It is deep work on every level: body, mind, breath, awareness. After this you will not want to go to another teacher ))

For yoga with Yana I would travel an hour to another town.

First time trying aerial yoga. Yana was great — I loved how hard it was, and it was fun. Help in all languages!

I spent months looking for fly yoga — and I found it. I am so grateful to Yana for her energy, her attentiveness and her professionalism.

Today it felt like the cocoons in the film Avatar. Thank you for the practice, Yana.
